This policy describes how m23n (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website at https://m23n.com and our WristChat mobile and Apple Watch application (Slack client). By using the site or WristChat, you acknowledge this policy.

Scope: This page does not apply to TeleWatch (our Telegram client) or other Telegram-related products, and it does not apply to WatchMail (our email apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS). Those services are covered by separate privacy policies (see below).

1. Who we are

2. Categories of information

2.1 WristChat (iPhone & Apple Watch)

  • Slack session: Slack OAuth tokens and related workspace identifiers may be stored on your device using the system keychain (or equivalent secure storage).
  • Push notifications: A device-specific token for Apple Push Notification service (APNs) may be sent to servers we operate (e.g. wristchat.m23n.com) so we can deliver message alerts from Slack. To build notification titles, our servers may make limited calls to Slack’s APIs; a Slack user token may be stored on the server for that purpose.
  • iPhone ↔ Apple Watch: We may sync session data, subscription status, workspace identifiers, and optional settings (such as a custom backend URL) between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s Watch Connectivity.
  • Subscriptions: In-app purchases and subscription status may be processed through RevenueCat and Apple, including transaction and device or account identifiers as those services require.
  • Analytics & diagnostics: We may use Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) to collect usage and crash data, which may be associated with an app instance or pseudonymous ID.

2.2 Website (m23n.com)

Our site is mostly static. Your host or CDN may create server logs (for example IP address, browser type, date/time) when you load pages. Processing of those logs is governed by your hosting provider’s policies as well as ours where applicable.

3. How we use information

  • Provide WristChat and its Slack integration
  • Deliver push notifications
  • Validate subscriptions and process payments (via Apple / RevenueCat)
  • Improve the product, secure our systems, and fix bugs
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

4. Legal bases (U.S.)

We process personal information as permitted under U.S. law, including where necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the service), based on our legitimate interests (security and product improvement), with your consent where required, or to meet legal obligations. Specific bases may vary by state.

5. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. To request deletion of backend device records or tokens, email support@m23n.com.

6. Service providers & third parties

In connection with WristChat and this site, we may share data with categories of providers such as:

  • Slack Technologies — messaging platform and APIs
  • Apple Inc. — App Store, APNs, and device services
  • Google (Firebase) — analytics and crash reporting
  • RevenueCat — subscription infrastructure
  • Hosting, DNS, and infrastructure vendors

7. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact support@m23n.com to make a request. We will verify reasonable requests as required by law.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where a higher age applies under applicable state law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page and may provide additional notice for material changes (for example, in the app or by email where appropriate).
