TeleWatch Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026. This policy is for general information and is not legal advice. Have your counsel review it before you rely on it commercially.
This policy describes how m23n (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use TeleWatch, our Telegram client for iPhone and Apple Watch. By using TeleWatch, you acknowledge this policy.
TeleWatch connects to Telegram through Telegram’s platform. Telegram’s own privacy practices apply to your Telegram account and messages on Telegram’s systems. See Telegram’s Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
For privacy requests and questions, contact us at support@m23n.com.
2. Categories of information
2.1 Account & device
- Authentication: We may issue or validate session identifiers (for example JWTs or similar tokens) so your devices can use our backend securely. Credentials and tokens may be stored on your device using the system keychain (or equivalent secure storage).
- Device identifier: A stable app-specific device identifier may be generated and stored locally to correlate your iPhone and Apple Watch with your account on our servers.
2.2 Our servers & Telegram (TDLib)
To provide Telegram features on the watch, TeleWatch may communicate with infrastructure we operate (for example telewatch.m23n.com). Our backend and worker processes may use TDLib (Telegram’s library) to interact with Telegram on your behalf in accordance with Telegram’s terms and your authorization in the app.
- Messages & metadata: Message content, chat lists, and related metadata may pass through or be processed on our systems as needed to deliver the service.
- Media & previews: Media and thumbnails may be fetched or processed to show previews or support playback features you use in the app.
2.3 Push notifications
A device-specific token for Apple Push Notification service (APNs) may be sent to our servers so we can deliver alerts related to Telegram activity when you enable notifications.
2.4 iPhone ↔ Apple Watch
We may sync data between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s Watch Connectivity, which may include session/pairing state, subscription status, language preferences, readiness indicators, and identifiers needed to associate the watch with your account.
2.5 Subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscription status may be processed through RevenueCat and Apple, including transaction and device or account identifiers as those services require.
2.6 Analytics & diagnostics
We may use Firebase services including Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config to collect usage and crash data and improve stability.
3. How we use information
- Provide TeleWatch and Telegram-related functionality
- Deliver push notifications when enabled
- Validate subscriptions and process payments (via Apple / RevenueCat)
- Improve the product, secure our systems, and fix bugs
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
4. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. To request deletion of backend device records or tokens associated with TeleWatch, email support@m23n.com.
