Terms of Service
Last updated: April 8, 2026. This document is for general information and is not a substitute for legal advice. Have your attorney review it for your situation.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at https://m23n.com and the WristChat application offered by m23n (Slack on iPhone and Apple Watch). By accessing or using the site or WristChat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use those services.
Scope: These Terms do not apply to TeleWatch (our Telegram client) or other Telegram-related products, and they do not apply to WatchMail (our email apps). TeleWatch and WatchMail are governed by separate terms: TeleWatch Terms of Service and WatchMail Terms of Service.
1. The service
WristChat is a client for Slack on Apple platforms. Slack’s APIs and your Slack account are third-party services; Slack’s terms and policies apply in addition to ours.
2. Apple App Store & subscriptions
If you obtain WristChat through the Apple App Store, Apple’s applicable rules and license terms apply. In-app purchases and subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes follow Apple’s policies and procedures.
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) may apply to App Store downloads; see Apple’s current terms for details.
3. Account & security
You are responsible for your Slack account and for any permissions you grant via OAuth. If you suspect unauthorized access, review your Slack and Apple account settings promptly.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use our services only in compliance with applicable law and with Slack’s and Apple’s rules. You may not misuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or others’ data.
5. Intellectual property
The m23n name, WristChat branding, and site content (text, design, and code) are owned by m23n or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, M23N DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT SLACK OR APPLE SERVICES WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE OR COMPATIBLE.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, M23N AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
8. Changes & termination
We may modify these Terms or the services. We will post updated Terms on this page and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the services at any time.
9. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, you and m23n agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services shall be the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
