Business Profile Manager Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Business Profile Manager (listed as “Business Profile for Google”), the iOS app for managing Google Business Profile locations, offered by m23n. By accessing or using Business Profile Manager, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Independent app: Business Profile Manager is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. Google and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. The app is a client for Google’s Business Profile APIs and is not a substitute for the Google Business Profile website, the Google Maps app or Google’s own notices.

1. The service

Business Profile Manager lets you connect Google accounts, view and edit the business information of the locations you manage, read and reply to customer reviews, create, schedule and delete posts, offers and events, upload and remove photos, and view performance insights. All data is retrieved from and written to Google on your behalf; availability, accuracy and timeliness depend on Google’s services, your Business Profile configuration and your API access. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time.

2. Your accounts & responsibilities

You are responsible for the Google and Business Profile accounts you connect and for having the authority to view and modify the locations in them. Replies, posts, photos and business information you publish through the app appear publicly on Google Search and Maps and may be subject to Google’s moderation; review content before publishing. Keep your device secure; anyone with access to your unlocked device can use the connected accounts in the app. Handling of your data is described in our Business Profile Manager Privacy Policy.

3. AI-drafted replies

The app may suggest replies to reviews using on-device language models or templates. Suggestions are drafts only: they may be inaccurate, inappropriate or incomplete, and nothing is published until you choose to publish it. You are solely responsible for every reply you publish, including compliance with Google’s review and content policies and applicable law.

4. Google terms

Your use of Google Business Profile, the Business Profile APIs and content retrieved through them is also subject to Google’s terms, the Google Business Profile policies and the Google APIs Terms of Service. You must not use the app to violate those policies, and you accept that Google may suspend profiles, remove content or restrict API access independently of anything we do.

5. App Store, free tier & subscriptions

Business Profile Manager is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple’s rules and license terms apply. A free tier with limited features is available; additional features (“Pro”) require an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple, which may start with a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated price until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. Prices, plans, promotional offers and included features may change over time; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for. Refunds and billing disputes follow Apple’s policies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Business Profile Manager only in compliance with applicable law and Google’s policies. You may not misuse, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer beyond what law permits, or attempt unauthorised access to the app or Google’s services; publish unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive replies, posts or images; post fake or incentivised content; or use the app to manage profiles you are not authorised to manage.

7. Content you publish

You retain ownership of the text and images you publish through the app. They are transmitted directly to Google under your Google account and Google’s terms; we do not store them. You confirm you have the rights to publish them.

8. Third-party services

The app relies on Google (Business Profile APIs), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, on-device AI) and Mixpanel (analytics). Those services are subject to their providers’ own terms and availability, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

BUSINESS PROFILE MANAGER AND RELATED SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL LOCATION, REVIEW, POST AND PERFORMANCE DATA AND ANY AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, M23N DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, m23n will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, sales, business, reputation or data, arising from your use of Business Profile Manager, including edits applied to your profiles, replies or posts published, missed or delayed notifications or scheduled posts, or reliance on review, status or performance information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Business Profile Manager at any time by signing out and deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
