WearMap Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of WearMap, the offline turn-by-turn navigation app for Wear OS and its phone companion, offered by m23n. WearMap is under active development; not all features may be available yet. By accessing or using WearMap when it is offered to you, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use WearMap.

Navigation safety: You are solely responsible for operating any vehicle safely and for complying with traffic laws and signage, regardless of what WearMap displays. Do not interact with the app in a way that endangers yourself or others.

1. The service

WearMap provides route computation and turn-by-turn guidance using map, points-of-interest, and routing data we license or compile for the offline regions you download. Map data, traffic conditions, addresses, and points of interest may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. WearMap is provided for general guidance only and is not a substitute for road signs, posted conditions, or your own judgment.

2. App stores & payments

If you obtain WearMap through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store’s applicable rules and license terms apply. In-app purchases and subscriptions (for example additional offline regions), if offered, are billed by the store operator. Cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes follow the store’s policies.

3. Offline data & storage

Downloaded map regions, routing graphs, and search indexes are stored on your device and count against its available storage. We may update, version, or discontinue support for specific regions or data formats; where feasible we will prompt you to re-download affected regions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use WearMap only in compliance with applicable law. You may not misuse, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer beyond what law permits, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or the map/routing data we distribute.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

WEARMAP AND RELATED SERVICES, INCLUDING MAP AND ROUTING DATA, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR NAVIGATION IN ANY PARTICULAR SITUATION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, M23N DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, m23n will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of WearMap, including reliance on route guidance, ETAs, or map data.
